Protesters tried to rush stage at Joe Biden's victory speech last night. They ran into a problem; Jill Biden.
Yes, Jill Biden, Joe's wife. When the protesters ran onstage, Jill and campaign staffer Symone Sanders blocked them from getting anywhere close to Joe.
Security escorted the protesters away. Biden resumed his speech, and the night moved on.
The protest was against dairy products. The group the women belong to, Direct Action Everywhere, is a vegan group that seeks to “exclude—as far as is possible and practicable—any products or services derived from the exploitation of nonhuman animals,” according to its website.
