Texas Independence Day is seriously in the heart of true Texans, whether you’re from here or come here.It represents the spirit and the state of mind of people who will fight overwhelming odds, stand up for beliefs, hold firm together, risk the consequences…and if victory is achieved, know they earned it.
That spirit of independence is bolstered by Texans all around us….from El Paso to Lake Charles, the Rio Grande to the Red River, it’s attitude and a strong truth detector and a knowledge of “that ain’t right!”that make today’s ongoing history a reflection of those who fought frontier and wildness of enemies and weather, to forge a Republic and then a Lone Star State.
As for “true Texans”, you are….if the come here’s just make a point of respecting what the from here’s Have built and revere.
