Multilingual virtual translators are now available at polling sites in Harris County. The translations will be available in almost 30 languages including Chinese, Vietnamese, and Spanish. Country Clerk Diane Trautman says she hopes the use of translators will increase the county's voter participation rate. English is not the native language for more than a third of the almost five-million residents of Harris County.
