Julian Castro says he's seeing increased support for his presidential campaign since Senator Kamala Harris of California dropped out of the race.
Castro told reporters on Thursday that he'd raised 360-thousand-dollars from 18-thousand nationwide donors since Harris bailed out two days earlier.
The former San Antonio mayor says he's now reached the donor fundraising threshold required to participate in this month's Democratic candidates' debate.
He still hasn't met the polling threshold.
Since Beto O'Rourke's withdrawal from the race, Castro is the only Texas Democrat making a White House bid.
