Houston police say an increasing number of guns are being stolen from cars.
Data from the HPD Auto Theft Crimes Task Force show more than two-thousand guns have been stolen from cars in Houston in the past ten months, an increase of 21-percent over last year.
Police say thieves look for things like NRA bumper stickers, or stickers indicating a brand of firearm when looking for a gun-owner's car to break into.
They also follow shooters from gun ranges and steal the guns at the next stop.
