WATCH: Hawaii high school kicker tries game winning FG for state title

This one was truly a long shot.

A Hawaii high school football player helped his team keep its dream of an undefeated season alive in the state championship game Friday – in a big way.

Keanu Keolanui, from Hilo High School, lined up for a 55-yard field goal try to send his team home winners of the HHSAA Division 1 championship over the ‘Iolani Raiders.

Fifty-five yards is tough for the best of NFL kickers, let along a high school kicker.
