Too many packages, not enough time, and not enough workers….so we learned on Houston’s Morning News…in this record-breaking holiday shopping season. But I only had to look out my kitchen window to see some innovative delivery guys rising to the occasion. Yep, there they were in souped- up golf carts with trailers….delivering packages all around the neighborhood with unbelievable speed. The big, distinctive panel truck was parked on a side street, functioning as a warehouse, free of maneuvering parked cars and landscaper trailers. How smart is that? Some free market/ profit motive ingenuity. Could you imagine this if the socialist vote gets its way? Government control of all the economy. Wonder how the libs will like their “free stuff” being delivered at government speed…if at all. But hey, if the streets get too crowded for the government big trucks….expect a ban all private vehicles in their way. That’s the way I fear it, anyway.
