The experts say it’s best to go “cold turkey” on political talk this Thanksgiving….if you want a thankful family around the table.
Maybe my family is different. I just returned from the cold turkey state of Missouri …..just look at the mighty Mississippi River in 30 degree temps. My photo is posted at KTRH.com. But back to the point…there, in the center of the country, with cousins arriving for a family funeral, we all were carrying a variety of political opinion. The differences were geographical and generational for the most part. Different perspectives….but the weekend was a matter of family and we did keep it all in the family. Mainly gratitude in seeing each other over time and distance. But whether it’s the Lone Star state or the Show Me state, you could wear your leanings on your butt. According to the Wall Street Journal, Democrats wear Levi’s…Republicans prefer Wranglers. Who knew?
