If Obamacare as we know it is on its last legs, the biggest question that's out there is what comes next?
That will be a key issue in 2020. The Democrats running for President are talking about Medicare for All, and David Balat with the Texas Public Policy Foundation says Republicans have their own plan, something similar to what President Trump did with the economy; free it and allow it to flourish.
"Getting rid of the regulations that continue to increase the cost of health care delivery. It also re-establishes the relationship between doctor and patient," Balat explained.
Balat says with Congress being split right now, nothing can get done. So you will vote for what you want in 2020; government run health care, or a less regulated system that gives you more choice.
