Hundreds of various breeds and all ages of cats and dogs will be looking for their furrever homes today and tomorrow at the first-ever mega adoption event in the Houston area.
Admission and parking are free.
Adoption fee will be $25.00.
The mega adoption event is sponsored by Petco and is in partnership with Houston-area organizations such as BARC Animal Shelter and Adoptions, Montgomery County Animal Shelter, Fort Bend County Animal Services, Harris County Animal Shelter, League City Pets Alive and SPCA of Brazoria County.
The local area shelters will take part in the first ever mega pet adoption from 10 am to 5 pm at the George R. Brown Convention Center, 1001 Avenida de las Americas in downtown Houston.
