The junior Senator from Texas doesn't think much of the effort by Democrats to impeach President Trump.
The Senator was on Fox News earlier this morning and said what Democrats are doing is even more of a sideshow than it usually is.
"Washington is always a circus, but this is three rings, with all the clowns," Cruz joked.
Cruz says the entire effort is driven by one thing; anger.
"They are angry about the 2016 election. Ultimately they are angry that voters elected President Trump. From Day One they have been wanting to get this President out of office," Cruz explained.
