More and more doctors are prescribing kids off-label drugs.
"Off label" means the drugs were only tested on adults, not kids, but medical specialist Judy Gaman says, "This has been happening for quite sometime now, take ibuprofen for example, it was never tested on kids."
She says, "Doctors should start a data base that shows what drugs they're prescribing kids and if there were any side effects, this would be a very useful tool for doctors and researchers."
