The Energy Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) knows how hot it is outside. In fact, that's why they are asking you to limit your electrical usage, especially between 2 and 7 p.m both Saturday and Sunday. An ERCOT spokesperson says energy conditions will be especially tight in the "major urban load centers" of Houston, San Antonio, Dallas, and Austin. The agency suggests bumping up the thermostat a few degrees and wear fewer clothes while in the privacy of your own home.
