If you are a military veteran looking for a job, or if you are the spouse of a veteran, there's a job fair at Toyota Center tomorrow that could help you get what you're looking for.
RecruitMilitary is holding a job fair for vets and their spouses tomorrow at Toyota Center from 11am until 3pm. RecruitMilitary's Adam O'Toole tells KTRH this is a free event.
"We will have 80 employers here looking to hire veterans out of the Houston area, both locally, regionally, and nationally," O'Toole said.
O'Toole knows how hard it can be to make the transition back to civilian life, having done so himself eleven years ago.
"Helping a vet know hot to interview and know what to look for; these types of job fairs are crucial to their success," he explained.
This is especially the case for military spouses, who at 25% have an unemployment rate more than six times higher than the national average.
