It was one for the history books. The Houston Astros beat the Baltimore Orioles Saturday night in Camden Yards 23 to 2.
Rookie Yordan Alvarez had three of Houston's six home runs. Alvarez became the first rookie to hit three homers and drive in at least seven runs since the RBI became a stat in 1920, helping Houston to its highest-scoring game in franchise history.
Jose Altuve, Alex Bregman and Carlos Correa also homered for the Astros, and Aaron Sanchez backed up his six-inning, no-hit Houston debut in his last outing by allowing one run and three hits in five frames. Correa's third inning homer traveled 474 feet, setting a record for the longest distance at Camden Yards since Statcast started keeping track.
