Original: TxDOT says that a big rig has crashed over the side of the Ship Channel Bridge along Loop 610.
The truck crashed through the guardrail, and fell onto industrial property below.
Police are on the scene on the East Loop northbound at Manchester, and traffic is slow in the area.
Officials say the truck was not carrying anything toxic..
