We’ve been talking about it since the weekend. Tropical moisture is coming. And even though the system known as ‘Invest 91L’ might not develop into a depression or storm, it will make its presence felt.
In fact, the National Weather Service has already issued Flash Flood Watches, and those watches run through early Thursday morning.
So the question that you’re probably asking is how much rain you will get. Charles Roeseler with the National Weather Service told KTRH it depends on where you live. If you’re in Harris County, you might be on the smaller side of the rainfall amount.
“By the time we get into Thursday afternoon, we’ll probably have widespread rainfall totals of about two to four inches across the county,” he said.
As for the coastal counties, like Galveston and Brazoria, the impacts will be bigger.
“Those counties might have totals of between six and eight inches of rain,” Roeseler stated.
