Houston's METRO rail proposed projects will begin a $7.5 billion improvement to rail and bus. Enhancements would create 16 miles of more light rail as well as 66 more miles of bus rapid transit. The extra rail could extend to Hobby Airport. As the plans are being finished by METRO officials, there will be a community meeting for residents to learn and ask questions before it goes to the ballot in November.
