In February 2020 Houston football fans will have two teams to cheer. The XFL Pro Football League, financially backed by WWE's Vince McMahon, and the Houston Sports Authority say Houston will have one of eight teams in the reborn XFL (previously played one season in 2001). Games will be played on the U of H campus in the 40,000 seated TDECU stadium.
Other cities will include Los Angeles, New York, St. Louis, Seattle, Tampa Bay, Dallas, and Washington.
