Two Marine veterans are expected to survive their injuries, after being run down and shot at while riding their motorcycles in west Harris County.
Deputies say three bikers were riding on Barkers Crossing Avenue near the West Houston Airport when one of them was hit by a gold SUV with several people inside.As it sped past, the vehicle ran over a second biker. According to investigators, riders in the SUV then jumped out and started shooting.
Both bikers were taken to the hospital where they are recovering.Deputies say the third rider is being questioned.
