(Dallas, TX) -- Some good news for former Dallas Cowboys star Michael Irvin. The 53-year-old former NFL wide receiver's tests for throat cancer came back negative. Irvin had the tests done at UCLA Ronald Reagan Hospital in Los Angeles. He had been having throat problems for the past two months, and he was worried because his father died of throat cancer at age 51.
Irvin is thanking his fans via social for their prayers.
