House Expected To Vote Today On Resolution Condemning Hate

(Washington, DC) -- The House is expected to vote today on a resolution condemning hate speech. It started out as a proposed resolution condemning anti-Semitism but has expanded amid disagreements among Democrats. The original resolution on anti-Semitism was aimed at recent comments by Minnesota Democrat, pronounced Ilhan [[ ill-han ]] Omar.

Last week, the freshman Muslim lawmaker, accused pro-Israel advocates of pushing "allegiance to a foreign country" then said American lawmakers' lack of criticism for Israeli policies was "all about Benjamins."
