The only thing that might get users to quit Facebook or Google would be if they have to pay for it . The free is too good to pass up, regardless of privacy concerns or scandals.

Cybersecurity and privacy attorney Shawn Tuma said people need to know what they're getting into and use cautions.
"We need to be more educated to understand that what we put in the digital realm is not safe, that it can be taken, that it should be limited," said Tuma. "When you get a free service, you are the product, and quite frankly they just don't seem to care that much about it."
He said these free services are after our information and we're more than happy to give it to them.
