(Houston, TX) -- The Houston Astros start spring training in Florida in a little more than a week. Astros pitchers and catchers will report to FitTeam Ballpark of the Palm Beaches on Wednesday of next week, with their first workout the next day. The team's position players show up the following Sunday, February 17th, and the full team's first workout takes place that Monday. The first exhibition game will be on February 23rd against the Nationals at the same facility. The 2019 season opener is March 28th on the road against the Tampa Bay Rays.
