(Sugar Land, TX) -- The city of Sugar Land is looking for a private-sector partner to build and run a new hotel and convention venue. The destination will include 350 hotel rooms and up to 50-thousand-square-feet of space for conventions or conferences.
The facility and its parking garage are to be built on city-owned land next to the Smart Financial Centre near the Southwest Freeway and University Boulevard. The project's construction and operations won't require any property tax dollars.
