(Milan, MI) -- A man who ran an online child pornography ring has been beaten to death in a federal prison south of Ann Arbor.
Forty-year-old Christian Maire was killed January 2 in Milan, less than a month after being sentenced to 40 years behind bars.
Two guards and three inmates were treated for minor injuries. Maire was from Port Dickinson, New York, and the inmates involved in his death are expected to face new charges.
