We know what most of you think about politicians. You don’t trust them a lot. You don’t think they have ethics. But, new research shows you are starting to feel the same way about journalists.
According to Gallup only 8% of you think politicians are ethical. That doesn't surprise people who work in politics like Houston Republican strategist Jessica Colon, who says we've felt this way for years.
“I don’t know what it will take for people to have faith in politicians again. There’s a distrust of leadership on both sides,” Colon explained.
What surprised Colon was that only 33% of you thought reporters were honest.
“There’s was a time when you turned on the TV and you had great faith in Walter Cronkite, Tom Brokaw and even CNN,” Colon said.
The most honest profession is nursing, with 84% of you saying nurses have 'very high ethics.'
