(Houston, TX) -- Severe thunderstorms and street flooding are on their way to the Houston area today and tomorrow.
The National Weather Service says the rain will start this afternoon and it'll be storming by tonight. Up to three inches of rain are possible overnight, along with winds of up to 25 mph.
Forecasters say local flooding and possible isolated tornadoes could develop starting at midnight through Thursday morning.
