Today is the deadline to get First Class or Priority Mail Christmas cards and packages in the mail in order to make it to loved ones by December 25th.
Strategic communications specialist Nikki Johnson with the USPS said to avoid long lines at the post office, you can go online or use the self-service kiosk machines in the post office lobbies.
"As long as it's post-marked and dropped into our collection boxes, or either taken to our facilities by the suggested cut off times," said Johnson.
She said if you miss today, you have one more option.
"Our Express Mail, the drop dead date on that, or suggested date is December 22nd," said Johnson.
