Texans hit road to face Jets

After their nine game winning streak ended on Sunday with a loss at home to the Indianapolis Colts, the Houston Texans hit the road for a date against the New York Jets this afternoon.

One thing the Texans will have to deal with is the elements. Temperatures are only supposed to top out at fifty degrees in the New York area, and there will be rain to deal with, too. J.J. Watt doesn’t mind it at all.

“I’m from Wisconsin. I’ve seen it all. I once played in a game when it was -28 degrees. I’m okay with whatever they got up there,” Watt said.

The Texans are coming off a 24-21 loss at the hands of Andrew Luck and the Colts six days ago. Coach Bill O’Brien says that game might have been a wakeup call.

“When you lose a game, I think everyone as a team really looks at the tape when you lose a game,” O’Brien stated.

The Texans lead the AFC South at 9-4, while the Jets are 4-9. Kickoff is set for 3:30 this afternoon.
