The City of Houston says if you get your tap water from the city you should be fine. But flooding rains Friday night led to a spill of domestic wastewater at three water treatment plants.

1200 Wrightwood Street
10200 Eastex Freeway at Parker Road
Crews have been working through Sunday to make repairs.
Residents who get their water from a well-system a half mile from within one of the above listed plants or near the potentially affected area should boil their water for at least one minute as a precaution. They advise that anyone who comes in contact with the wastewater bathe and wash their clothing.
