(Los Angeles, CA) -- "God of War" is the Game of the Year. The awards for the best video games were handed out Thursday night in Los Angeles. The Sony Santa Monica game beat out others that did well on Thursday, including "Red Dead Redemption Two" and "Celeste." "God of War" also won Best Game Direction and Best Action Adventure Game.
"Red Dead Redemption Two" won Best Narrative, Best Score, Best Audio Design and Best Performance for Roger Clark, who voices the title character Arthur Morgan. "Celeste" won for Games For Impact and Best Independent Game. "Fortnite" won two awards for Best Multiplayer Game and Best Ongoing Game.
