(New Caney, TX) -- A fast-food chain long missing from the Houston area is about to make a comeback. Wienerschnitzel plans to open a dozen local outlets, with the first of them in New Caney.
The chain is known mainly for hot dogs, but also sells burgers, sandwiches, breakfast and Tastee-Freez ice cream.
It used to be known as Der Wienerschnitzel, but shortened its name years ago. Wienerschnitzel has locations in other parts of Texas, plus nine other states and Guam.
