With Democrats set to take control of the House of Representatives in January, many are expecting a fight over gun rights in the next Congress.
That's because the gun control lobby outspent the NRA during the midterm election campaign. And they outspent the NRA by almost two-to-one. C.J. Grisham with Open Carry Texas tells KTRH he's not concerned about that, or what lawmakers on the left will try to do between now and 2020.
“The Democrats control one-half of one-third of the government. That’s not going to get gun control legislation passed,” Grisham explained.
Background checks for gun sales were off by 10% for Black Friday. Mike Clark at Collector's Firearms says background checks are one thing, sales are another. And his store is doing just fine.
“We’ve had tremendous sales this year. Out Black Friday sale was 10-15 percent better than last year’s Black Friday sale, adding that he thinks the rest of the Christmas season will be strong, too.
