The search for a new coach may have taken an unexpected turn. According to an ESPN report, management is considering former Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice to fill the position.
Although Browns general manager John Dorsey now refutes the story, he told reporters last week, "I just want the best possible head coach to move this thing forward regardless of age. It could be a woman. I’m serious. We’re going to look at everything."
Should Rice get the gig, she'd become the first woman in history to coach an NFL team. Three teams -- the Bills, the Raiders and the 49ers -- have previously hired women to serve on their coaching staffs.
Do you think hiring Condoleeza Rice as head coach is just what the Bills need to shake things up? Do you think it's necessary for a head coach to be a former player?
