(Austin, TX) -- Texas' unemployment rate is at a new record low.
Texas Workforce Commission announced today the three-point-eight-percent rate for September today which dropped a percentage point from August.
The state added almost 17-thousand private sector jobs last month with most of those in the financial activities categories. Texas has seen 27 consecutive months of employment growth.
