(Washington, DC) -- An FBI investigation is underway into sexual misconduct claims against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.
President Trump ordered the limited probe saying it will be completed in less than a week. The move will delay a confirmation vote on Kavanaugh's nomination which was approved by the Senate Judiciary Committee on Friday.
Arizona Senator Jeff Flake voted to advance the nomination under the condition that the FBI would investigate the allegations against Kavanaugh.
