You might not remember it, but the Texans do have a win within the last year. It was against the Arizona Cardinals last November 19th, and the Texans, then quarterbacked by Tom Savage, won 31-21.
But since then, the Texans haven’t won. They have the longest losing streak in the league with nine consecutive losses. They hope to turn that around on Sunday when they take on the Colts at Indianapolis.
The Texans are 0-3 after losing their home opener to the New York Giants last week. Coach Bill O’Brien admits the losing is grating on his boss, owner Bob McNair.
“We got to get better. Bob’s made it very clear to me we need to improve,” O’Brien said.
And J.J. Watt has gone so far as to call Sunday’s game a ‘must-win’ situation.
“It’s very important. We really need to get one. It’s a tough opponent and a tough place to play,” Watt stated.
Sunday’s kickoff is set for Noon.
