We are under two months away from a very important midterm election here in the United States; one that could determine the course of the Trump agenda.
We seem to talk about these midterms all the time, in terms of 'blue waves,' but do you really understand what's at stake? Harris County Republican Party Chairman Paul Simpson told KTRH it's more than just the tax cuts and booming economy at risk with a Republican loss.
“They’d spend their time abolishing ICE, wrecking border security, and we’d be wrapped up in impeachment proceedings likely,” Simpson explained.
And that's why he is stressing how important it is to get out and vote.
“Too many of our good voters stay home, and let some very radical candidates running as Democrats get elected,” Simpson stated.
Democrats need to pick up 23 seats to win control of the House in November. Analysts say there are forty races that are 'competitive.'
