Another example of the high cost of illegal immigration; Americans having their identities and social security numbers stolen by illegal aliens.
The Immigration Reform Law Insitute recently revealed scores of names on W-2 tax forms did not match corresponding Social Security records.
“During the tax years of 2012 through 2016, there were more than 39 million W-2 reports that did not mathch, the Social Security numbers failed to match the names,” IRLI executive director Dale Wilcox told Breitbart News Tonight.
And he says U.S. children at the most at-risk of having their IDs stolen.
“These poor kids, when they go to get their first school loan or car loan, they've got criminal records, criminal histories, tax liabilities or bad credit,” says Wilcox.
He says it was the Obama administration that stopped verifying Social Security numbers as part of DACA.
“They stopped sending out these no-match letters so DACA-eligible recipients wouldn't be scared to come forward to participate in the program for fear of identity theft prosecution.”
Wilcox says E-Verify, when used, simply doesn't go far enough.
“E-Verity can catch a 40-year-old man using a 3-year-old's Social Security number, obviously the age and name don't match, but now states are submitting driver's licence information to DHS and you can actually match up photos.”
