A south Texas meat processor is recalling nearly 50-thousand pounds of smoked sausage, which may be contaminated with hard plastic.
The Eddy Packing Company in Yoakum - about 130-miles southeast of Houston - shipped the product throughout Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Georgia, Illinois, and California.
Affected products include Eddy's Premium Smoked Sausage, and Dickey's Barbecue Pit Fresh Polish Sausage."
