There has been a major mood shift in America.  As we began the year, we felt significant dissatisfaction with government, according to Gallup researchers.

In March, we reported on Houston’s Morning News that jobs had claimed our top concern, and while our worries over the economy and jobs remain high in July…. Gallup now shows the top concern of Americans is immigration/illegal aliens.

What I find suspect is the timing of all this: the flood of children and emotion-raising humanitarian issue just as the President pressures Congress to pass his immigration plan and to give him billions in dollars to disburse. And the Democrats, in political theater, portraying the crisis as Republican obstruction… successfully, according to the polls.
