Why The GOP Keeps Giving In To The Left

The fallout continues after last Friday's passage in the House of the latest $1.2 trillion dollar government funding bill, all to avoid a government shutdown.

As one headline read, 'The GOP caves again!'

"This swamp is back in full force" said Texas congressman Chip Roy, who pleaded with fellow Republicans before the bill eventually passed, "We have a thousand page bill of $1.2 trillion dollars, filled with all manors of spending priorities that are odds with the American people."

Since last week, there has been talk of possibly ousting House Speaker Mike Johnson. But this time around, that might be easier said than done, without the desired result.

"It's not about replacing Speaker Johnson" said Steve Munisteri, 3x chair of the Texas GOP, "It's about replacing more of the reps in the House, getting a majority in the Senate and you've got to win the White House as well. But if we do that, then I feel like we can get things back on track."

One step at a time, starting in November, with a second term return, for Donald Trump.
