Biden's Plan to Win Back Young Voters

As the November election approaches, Joe Biden is attempting to shore up support by virtue signaling to younger voters on the issue of legalizing marijuana. While according to poll data, some 90% of Americans favor at least some level of legalization for marijuana, it's hardly a top issue for voters.

On top of that, it would require legislative action to completely legalize weed, and Democrats would need a pretty strong majority in the House and Senate to pull that off, so at the end of the day, all Biden can do is make empty campaign promises.

Political consultant Vlad Davidiuk told KTRH, "What this is, is a last-minute Hail Mary pass. They're hoping that between now and November, Joe Biden's voters will be able to say, 'Well, he's trying to legalize weed.'" Davidiuk says that even the younger voters are concerned with bigger issues, namely the Israel-Hamas war and the economy.

They're also concerned with student loan debt, which so far, Biden has failed to deliver on in any meaningful way.
