Raising A Child In The U.S. Is Getting Even More Expensive

As if Biden-flation wasn't bad enough for families, raising a child in the U.S. is now at an all-time high.

"And we're not even talking about college" said Bill Dendy, certified financial planner and CPA, "We're talking about just the cost of raising a child to the time of their 18th birthday, has now eclipsed $300,000 dollars."

Right now, that breaks down to over $20,000 per year, with 75% of parents admitting, that having kids been far more expensive than they expected.

"People say, well if I had known how much it cost, we might have thought about this" Dendy told KTRH, "That's kind of sad to think, because if you wait until you have the money and you think you can afford it, none of us would be having children. And you know that can't be the right answer either."
The answer he says, is planning and budgeting. And a win in the November election.

"People are making the decision not to start their families as early, or not to even have families" noted Dendy, "And that is becoming more socially acceptable for a lot of people."

Everything in the U.S. has gone up dramatically, except wages. More than half of parents, 55% admit going into debt for childcare expenses.
