Gag Me With A Spoon! Trump Fires Back At Judge Again After Ruling

After being ordered to pay $9,000 dollars for violating a gag order that bans him from speaking publicly, former president Donald Trump didn't mince any words following Day 9 of his show trial hearing in New York.

"I'm sitting inside a courtroom all day long listening to this stuff" Trump said before leaving, "I'm supposed to be in Georgia and lots of other places, and they have me sitting here for a Biden trial. Over absolutely nothing, there's no crime, there's no anything here."

But there was plenty from Trump on his Truth Social:

"This Judge has taken away my Constitutional Right to FREE SPEECH. I am the only Presidential Candidate in History to be GAGGED," Trump wrote Tuesday on Truth Social.

"This whole ‘Trial’ is RIGGED, and by taking away my FREEDOM OF SPEECH, THIS HIGHLY CONFLICTED JUDGE IS RIGGING THE PRESIDENTIAL OF 2024 ELECTION. ELECTION INTERFERENCE!!!" Trump continued.

On a different note, judge Merchan granted Trump permission to attend his son’s high school graduation in Florida next month.

It is unclear if trial proceedings will pause on May 17 or if the president will simply be absent from the courtroom that day, which falls on a Friday.

And also in New York, The House Judiciary Committee is investigating a top prosecutor on Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg's case against Trump for his past work as a senior Justice Department official during the Biden administration.

House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, is demanding that Attorney General Merrick Garland turn over records related to the employment of Bragg prosecutor Matthew Colangelo amid a "perception" of coordination.
