After the many failures of green energy to withstand extreme cold, most notably here in Texas back in February 2021, Democrats now want you to rely on green energy to heat your home. The green activists in the Biden administration are pushing heat pumps as a substitute for gas and wood-burning heating systems.
Author, farmer, and former Vermont Senate candidate John Klar says that these are some of the most ill-advised green energy products to hit the market, which is a high bar to clear considering the many debacles green products like EVs have faced.
Klar said, "We are told, of course, that we are going to have all these extreme weather events. Well, they threaten grids. They shut them down. And when that happens, your families will freeze, your pipes will freeze, you'll get sick. None of that is good."
Klar says these products often cause even more emissions due to the electricity required to make them run. So in the end, you're just trading the reliability of traditional house-warming methods for absolutely nothing.
