Harris County Commissioner Rodney Ellis won't be charged with a crime over a collection of African art stored in a precinct maintenance shed.
District Attorney Kim Ogg says a county grand jury no-billed Ellis on Thursday.
Ogg says an art loan agreement from 2017 involved 14 pieces of African art, but an employee of Ellis's office accepted nearly 12-hundred additional artworks.
The DA's probe found standard procedures hadn't been followed, but nothing illegal.
