Cash Grab: Dem Bill Allows Tax Credits for Illegals

Human infrastructure apparently also extends to illegal aliens. The Democrats' massive $3.5 trillion "human infrastructure bill" contains a provision allowing non-citizens to obtain a tax ID number, which would allow them to claim a $300 per month, per child tax credit. Sen. Mitt Romney (R-UT) sounded the alarm about the provision after a recent Senate hearing with DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas.

This is just the latest item found tucked away in the catch-all bill the Dems are trying to ram through and pay for without any Republican support. They even tried to include an amnesty provision for illegals in the bill, but the Senate Parliamentarian blocked the move. "Instead of requiring a social security number, they're allowing a looser form of identification document called an I-10," says Robert Law, policy director at the Center for Immigration Studies. "Really, this is to give illegal aliens the opportunity to take advantage of U.S. taxpayer dollars."

Law tells KTRH that since these child tax credits are direct cash payments, this goes beyond taxpayer benefits like healthcare or food stamps. "This is cash...cold hard cash," he says. "They are trying to give out U.S. taxpayer dollars to illegal aliens, and to those who have illegal alien children."

"This is literally money coming out of hard-working Americans' pockets, and being directly handed over to illegal aliens and their children, rewarding them for being in our country in violation of the law," he continues.

The Biden administration has publicly stated the border is closed and asked migrants not to come. But Law warns this policy sends the opposite message by incentivizing more illegal immigration. "In the midst of a border crisis, it is abundantly clear that Biden administration policies are literally the root cause of all the mass illegal immigration that has occurred since January 20th," he says.
