How reliable of a conservative will Amy Coney Barrett be?

The subject of the Supreme Court is sure to come up during the Vice Presidential debate tonight, especially with the Senate holding hearings on Amy Coney Barrett next week.

And there are conservatives who are wondering if she will be a Antonin Scalia conservative or more like Chief Justice John Roberts.

"I'd like to believe she would be more in the mold of Antonin Scalia," Margolis said.

Coney Barrett was a clerk for Scalia earlier in her career. Keep in mind that Chief Justice John Roberts sold himself as a conservative but hasn't ruled like one. So why is that?

"When you're in DC for too long, it kind of gets to you; the left wing atmosphere. Breathing it in for so long has an impact," Margolis explained.

Despite three Republicans in the Senate having COVID-19, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell is trying to get Coney Barrett's confirmation done before Election Day.
